Going to school in New York is a dream for many prospective students, even those that live in the state. Byrd Honors Scholarships that is also merit based but allows the recipient to attend school wherever they choose. New York distinguishes the need for more women in high standing career positions and in turn offers the New York Women in Communications Inc. Foundation. The New York Women in Communications Inc. Foundation awards eligible and deserving women who are seeking to study the field of communications. This scholarship is awarded annually and is based on many factors that can be further researched. New York really does offer a vast amount of financial assistance to individuals who possess the foresight to research and apply for them.
